What is Giftedness?

Giftedness is a high level of natural ability or potential in one or more areas such as intellectual, creative, artistic, or leadership capacity, or in specific academic fields.

Children can be gifted in one, two, or multiple areas, while at the same time being average or even facing challenges in others.

Giftedness – My Giftedness supports families and educators with a well-researched, scientific cognitive assessment that identifies how a child is gifted and helps shape a personalized and effective learning journey.

Our Program Response:
We believe that giftedness is multidimensional — it can't be defined by a single label. That’s why our approach focuses on identifying each student’s unique cognitive abilities and personal strengths. Rather than placing children into fixed categories, we build a detailed cognitive learning profile that reflects who they are and how they learn best.

What Kind of Giftedness Exists?

Giftedness is asynchronous development in which advanced cognitive abilities and heightened intensity combines Giftedness is not one-size-fits-all. Children can be gifted in different domains, and their abilities may emerge in various ways — intellectually, creatively, socially, or emotionally.

At My Giftedness, we use educational frameworks, principles of cognitive science, and multiple psychological models of learning and giftedness to uncover each child’s unique profile of strengths and talents, ensuring their learning journey is personalized and empowering.

Twice-Exceptional Learners (2e)

Why it’s necessary

Recognizing giftedness early is essential to ensuring that children with advanced abilities receive the right support—academically, socially, and emotionally. By understanding and nurturing their unique learning needs, we can create environments where gifted learners are challenged, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential. Recognition not only fosters growth and wellbeing but also equips families and educators with the insight needed to guide these children toward balanced, fulfilling development.

How it works
Giftedness means having natural abilities and uncovering hidden strengths. Children can be gifted in different domains, and their abilities may emerge in various ways—intellectual, creative, social, or emotional.

Based on both research and practical education models (like Renzulli’s Three-Ring Model, Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, and cognitive science), here are the key types of giftedness:
How it works

Who should take it

Gifted, near-gifted, and talented students are few among the many, and their unique abilities often go unnoticed in many different learning environments.

This assessment is ideal for children who show advanced thinking, creativity, or deep curiosity in specific areas, even if they may not perform consistently across all subjects..

Based on both research and practical educational models, it identifies each child's cognitive strengths and learning profile. This helps create a more personalized, effective educational approach that supports both their talents and any challenges.

This program is ideal for:

  • Students who display advanced thinking, creativity, or problem-solving skills.
  • Parents and educators seeking to understand and nurture a child’s gifted potential.
  • Students who thrive on challenge and want to learn more about their own intellectual styles and strengths.
